Welcome to Monster Mash! Kestrel Cafe’s monthly cryptid and monster romance book club for questionable adults.
From deeply emotional monster epics to absolute unhinged nonsense, we gather once a month to discuss monster romance in all its glorious forms. Expect chaotic discussions, dramatic readings, favorite tropes, cursed book recommendations, morally questionable fictional crushes, and the occasional “what did I just read?” moment.
Whether you love softhearted mothmen, terrifying eldritch beings, possessive werewolves, ancient sea monsters, or orcs with emotional baggage, there’s a seat for you at the table.

Between meetings, members can hang out in our Discord to share book recs, discuss current reads, scream about OTPs, post memes, and enable each other’s increasingly questionable TBR piles.
